Bigfoot And Infant In New York Classic Breakdown Video

In this classic breakdown video, Parabreakdown takes a look at some footage that is still talked about today, a possible bigfoot and infant seen in New York. This video looks decent on the outside, but what happens when Phil Poling starts digging a little deeper?

    4. Bob Gimlin saw one for sure, surprised him enough to raise a loaded weapon at it. I know people who have seen them, people with three times the experience in the wilderness than most.

    5. Once again PJ, you have no clue what Gimlin did or did not do. Gimlin claims he had a gun on the dude in the suit, yet there is zero evidence of that. We have no clue what Gimlin did or didn't do, we only have his word, which is dubious at best.

I notice where lately you have been claiming that no one in there right mind would have hoaxed patterson, because gimling had a gun on it, and could have shot at any minute. You do realize PJ, that if indeed the film is a hoax (probable) then there was never any gun on the film subject. You are taking gilmlins word as gospel. You also like to talk about patterson being thrown from his horse. Where is your proof of that? You have none, yet you use it as evidence that the film subject was real. There may not have been a horse in the vicinity, yet you believe this man on his word? There are so many holes in the patterson story that it really is amusing. And when a new hole is poked, footers in mass are willing to make up 100 different scenarios to account for the inconsistency. You have no clue what Gimlin saw PJ. You have no clue what Gimlin did PJ. You simply are taking the word of a man who you do not know at all. You continue to show the viewers of this site your ignorance as usual PJ. I just sit back and watch and laugh. How's the bet going for you? :)

    7. Several things to note in your racist post above "joe". First there are millions of monkey suits out there, available at any costume store, and for an extra 2 dollars, the store will even call it a magic monkey suit. Happy now? You only refer to the patterson suit as a magical suit, because you can't understand, or don't want to understand how it could be fake. It's ignorant logic "joe".

I also hope that all the viewers of this site see how racist you apparently are "joe". You just called me a "useless chimp". I am in fact African American, and i take great offense at this. Why would you go racial? It is disgusting that in this day and age that racism like this still abounds. Calling me a chimp, simply because you don't like my opinion. Racism will never go away thanks to folks like you "joe". And this post is proof of that.

    9. 6:19... You also like to claim that Bob Gimlin is one minute the best hoaxer on the planet having been a part of the best SFX defying scam of the world for the last 47 years... But the next too dumb to remember that he's lying about what horse he's riding. You claim that Bob is holding the hoax close to his heart, when he has had opportunities to stop people earning money from the film by unveiling the "hoax", because he has practically been cheated out of rights to the film by the major players, including Roger's wife. You forget that Bob was offered $1M by film producers to come clean and didn't bat an eyelid.

It's pretty much logical to assume that two cowboys venturing into the wilderness where there are some pretty dangerous carnivores are going to possessing guns, but it appears logic escapes you like a hug from a loved one. We also have the best styrup that Al Hodgson is a witness to seeing. So are we to assume Bob is telling the truth after 47 years considering how much cancerous little nerds like you have failed to find a magic monkey suit??

      Got monkey suit??

    13. You need to make sure you are addressing the correct troll when you write your paragraphs Joe. I have never made those claims you state about special effects, etc. The only claims i have made are in the above paragraphs. You do realize that there are other people on this site who question gimlin, right? Make sure you are addressing the correct person, or it makes you look silly. Nothing magical about the patterson suit. Just a monkey suit. Thats all. How many times have you seen your bigfooting icons of old carrying guns Joe? Green? Dahinden? etc. And they are working the same territory as patterson did. So your logic about toting guns doesn't hold up. Plus, many have stated that the film site had fresh dozer roads cut leading almost to the site. So its not like they were blazing these trails in the middle of nowhere. Why would a gun be needed to walk off of a dozer road a hundred yards and film your friend in a suit?

    20. 7:28... Oh I'm surer than anything I've ever claimed that you're the psycho racist nerd. I'm going to find your posts to compare to your easily recognisable writing style once this is posted.

Actually, when putting on a costume, it always adds and never subtracts from the proportions of the person wearing the costume... However, we see that in comparison to a normal human being, the upper leg of Patty is far shorter. That's just one area of analysis among so many others, such as flexing muscles in the next and shoulders that possess bending fingers in arms that are 10% longer than a normal human's, bending and flexing toes in the step, etc. Magic is an understatement considering what we know from SFX abilities even in the 70's (Google Bionic Man Bigfoot if you're not too scared, Winky). How many times have I seen Green and Dahinden carrying guns? Have you ever seen them to not have them on their person? It is without question, without doubt that they would have a gun on them in that type of environment, considering Green's background for sure. The dozer trails are irrelevant... Sasquatch are seen increasingly as civilisation encroaches on wilderness areas, it's a stupid argument. However, you'll use this as evidence that the footage was staged, and then suggest that the processing timeline was impossible due to the remote areas that they attained the footage, no doubt?

You're called "Winky" because that what your rear ended does when you think of large relict hominids roaming the wilderness that can twist your head off like a soda bottle.

    24. Please do compare writing styles Joe. It will only make you look all the more foolish. Why would anyone compare the patterson film to the bionic man episode Joe? That TV show wasn't even remotely trying to come up with a realistic bigfoot costume. It was more of a joke than anything else, and the TV show meant it to be that way. Yet you are somehow using the bionic man as proof?

And why are you making up names for adult men about rear ends and bigfoot? No one here has resorted to petty insults so far except you Joe. Why do you immediately attack those who question you? And your explanation of rear ends and Winky doesn't really make any sense. Please explain how a rear end could spawn the name winky?

    27. Why would anyone compare the two film sources?! Well according to people like you, the subject in the Patterson film is costume making in it's mastery, and the costume in the Bionic Man is the extent of SFX cababilities, even years after the PGF was filmed. You expect anyone to believe that a prime time major budget show wouldn't try and make a costume look as real as possible? Do you honestly expect anyone to swallow that? Or expect the producers of Bionic Man to try and make a costume that was meant to be "more of a joke"? Is that your idea of logic??

You're complaining of your name Winky when you're attempting to pin empty allegations of racism on people?

    31. I have never stated that the patterson film is mastery. I think it is a rather poor suit to be honest. Yes the bionic man costume was a joke as far as realism. If you think anyone tried to make that costume realistic, then i don't know what to tell you. You still don't seem to have an explanation for this winky name. I could care less if you refer to me as that, but your explanation for the name lacks any real sense. Please explain?

      Delete
    33. A poor suit? Then why can't you offer one explanation for the details that is seen in this alleged costume? It doesn't support your argument, it in fact exposes it even more. So you actually expect people around here to believe that a big budget Hollywood show like The Bionic Man would deliberately paint it's producers in a light as joking around and not making a good effort at a costume? Is this your idea of logic? You're on the ropes I think Winky?!

I've given you an explanation... It's the motion your rear end does at the thought of this topic being legitimate.

    37. Another often repeated racist idea of Joetomi's is the notion that red haired giant Europeans are responsible for all of the cultural wonders (e.g. burial mounds) that predate Columbus. In Joetomi's racist mind, only white Europeans were intelligent enough to be responsible for such amazing constructions.

Racism is behind all of Joetomi's bizarre bigfoot theories.

      Delete
    38. Yes Joe, it is a poor suit in my opinion. The details you see in my opinion, are simply wishful thinking. You are seeing what you want to see. Yes indeed, the bionic man put zero effort in trying to make a bigfoot suit. Just as other 70s shows had goofy, foolish looking costumes. The point wasn't to create a good suit, it was trying to produce an entertaining show episode with some sort of villian. It was a horrid looking costume. It really is shocking you would try and use it for any type of bigfoot legitimacy. If you call using common sense, being on the ropes, then i am happy to be on the ropes all day Joe.

That explanation of winky still doesn't hold up Joe. Your explanation makes no sense. Was it you who thought up the winky name Joe? I hope not, because it really is a very odd name to come up with for an insult. I would think you could do better.

      Delete
    39. To be fair, I know Joetomi believes that aliens built many of the ancient wonders. Perhaps he doesn't have much confidence in humans either way. We know he doesn't think we are capable of building an ape suit.

    45. 8:22... Ever heard of Kennewick man? Are you aware that Native Americans wanted to have the remains of this morphologically European person back claiming that it was their ancestry? I've never claimed that Europeans made the elaborate burial mounds, in fact the Adena were ancient North Americans. The Nevada Humbolt skull has prehistoric traits only found in European Paleo peoples, and studies on hair fibres on the Lovelock skulls indicates hair pigmant only found in European people, but that's about it.

8:24... So why can't you point out any suit anomalies? Why is that so difficult for you considering you are so keen to point out the "wishful thinking" of others? Why is this so difficult, anyone would think you're a little scared to point out anomalies because you know what's coming? Come on! It's an obvious suit, yet you can't point out any obvious anomalies?

The Bionic Man costume is "horrid" because that's the extent of SFX in the 70's. That's the extent that a high budget Hollywood show could devise. Are we to expect a broke cowboy could trump that, but the following decades' fur cloth techniques also? Allow me to educate you some more... There is no known fur cloth technique for over a 100 years of costume making that accounts for what we see in the PGF. Even though you embarrassing logic that Hollywood producers were trying to look incompetent doesn't wash, there is no method of replicating what we see in that footage today with modern materials, and even it it were accomplished, the budget and materials would far exceed anything probably from Roger Patterson in 1967.

"There is no convincing you joe we all know that but someone else may be reading and they should be aware of all the facts regarding this topic."
... You're not doing a very good attempt at these "facts", Winky!

    49. That's about it? Nothing regarding European giant skeletons found in burial mounds and covered up by the Smithsonian?

Well, I'm glad that you have given up on that strange, racist conspiracy theory. You're making progress kid!

      Delete
    50. Don... It's pretty simple. If the subject in the footage is "so obviously a costume", then it is he burden of anyone, including you should you be endorsing that idea, to lift the burden by presenting a case for that.

This should be easy for you. A costume expert has attempted to make what we see in that footage, and by his expert opinion... It is indeed impossible. The obstacles will stack up one by one until anyone's case for a costume in that footage is taken apart.

Remember; an obvious suit should have obvious explanations. Your hole being dug, not mine.

      Delete
    51. The Bionic Man bigfoot episode was in 1976. That is one year before Star Wars and Chewbecca.

Joe, there are plenty of examples of SFX superior to the Bionic Man. You really need to drop that line of logic. That dog don't hunt.

      Delete
    52. Is your statement about ancient aliens indicate that you think the whole theory is wrong, or just parts of it?

      Delete
    53. Recreating the PGF costume is a fools errand. Why would anyone need to spend the time and money? What is the motivation and what is the payoff? The film cannot prove, or disprove, bigfoot as a species. So what is the point? File it away as "undetermined" if it makes you feel better. I really don't care. It looks fake to me, the provenance stinks, and there is no proof anywhere that a creature like the one depicted in the film even exists. Why bother spending any more time or energy on it than that? All you would be doing is building a bone for rabid footers to chew on.

      Delete
    54. So your only counter-argument to Kitikaze is to make fun of his name and call him a liar? Anything besides ad hominem attacks? Thanks for playing!

    55. Don... The apes in the Planet of the Apes wore suits. There is rarely any visible fur cloth to draw any real comparison.

8:49... Sorry, never have claimed that European giants were found in burial mounds. You must have the wrong person. There are write me statements from Smithsonian anthropologists from European decent that have stated that any remains of the sort would not be considered, but nothing that amounts to a conspiracy.

Sorry! Your next racism claims? You're a bit of an intellectual coward claiming the moral high ground because you're too stupid to devise an intelligent counter argument, aren't you?

The bionic man costume is hardly even a costume. Its a tall man with a beard, with black face paint on and a frizzy wig. And literally a fur shirt and pants that seem to be made of bear fur. They tried so hard that they used black face paint joe? AHHHHH HAHAHAHAHA. You are melting down today. Do you realize how crazy you are sounding. And who has destroyed Kitakaze's arguements? That dog hunts just fine.

8:54... Watch Ancient Aliens Debunked and stop bitchin' like a little girl.

Don 8:56... It's about as relevant as you've take the time to compare it to various costumes on the BFF. Why is it suddenly irrelevant, because those arguments didn't hold water? If the footage is presented by a list of scientists and experts, then it is scientifically required to test that premise and there is only one method of testing the claim of organic tissue. The footage does not prove the existence of Sasquatch, because the subject in that footage may have been the last of it's kind and died out in 47 years. But if it's real, then there you have a living breathing hominid living on the planet JUST 47 years ago... And we all know what that means for the physical evidence and reports that flow to this day.

    69. "The Six Million Dollar Man is an American television series about a former astronaut with bionic implants working for a fictional government office known as OSI.[n 1] The series is based on the Martin Caidin novel Cyborg, which was the proposed title of the series during pre-production.[2] Following three television movies aired in 1973, The Six Million Dollar Man aired on the ABC network as a regular series for five seasons from 1974 to 1978. The title role of Steve Austin was played by Lee Majors, who subsequently became a pop culture icon of the 1970s. A spin-off series, The Bionic Woman, ran from 1976 to 1978 (and, in turn, was the subject of a remake in 2007). Three television movies featuring both eponymous characters were also produced between 1987 and 1994."

You'll notice the big money production capabilities of ABC Network? Anyone knows that the show was watched by literally everybody in the day. Not only did it portray a future of superhuman robots, it also showcased US technology as the finest in the world... You need a pretty mega budget for that. So... 72. you are skirting the arguement joe. You claim that the bionic man bigfoot is the best a hollywood big budget company could do and that they put major money into it, as they would never produce a poor product. So show us the money sum that went into the costume. Thats all, show us that amount. Show us where it cost more than 100 bucks, more than 200, more than 50 for that matter. These are your claims not mine, so either produce the evidence, or sit back down, admit that you made it up, and have no idea what the costume cost, or produce the cost of the suit. Whats the matter joe? get caught lying again and trying to bend things to fit your arguments? You have no clue what that costume cost? It could have been a free gift for all we know, or it could have cost 50 bucks to make. You have no clue, admit it. Show us the cost joe? show us the cost?

    73. I've supported my claims with the production companies that are affiliated and funded the show, not to mention how much a pop-cultural icon it was for the time. The show revolves around futuristic technologies... I fully expect someone of your god awful logic to be focussing on a futile argument like this.

You're flogging a dead horse and all the while none of your arguments and p*ss poor logic has come back with an obvious suit anomoly for the PGF subject.

      I'm waiting... ... ...

      Delete
    74. Joe, a link to the wiki entry for the show and the production company proves absolutely nothing. You're really reaching on this one. I'd drop it if I were you. You're looking ridiculous.

If you cannot demonstrate how much was spent on the suit, then you're just guessing and AGAIN arguing from personal incredulity.

      Delete
    75. Its just getting sad now Joe. You lost this one. We all see it and know it. You are using the supposed big budget of this show and the bigfoot suit within it, as positive evidence of bigfoot. Notice not one of yoru friends is backing you. Because your argument is obliterated.

So now you are saying because the show is run by a major media branch, that it will automatically have the best quality of things? Are you crazy?

No, the dead horse is that you think you are making any sense and that you can win this. You backed yourself into another corner, and its halarious to watch you squirm. Show us the money that went into that suit. Show us Joe, thats all you have to do. You are simply assuming the company spent more than 50 bucks on it. Which i doubt they spent more than that. And yet you are prancing around telling everyone that the bionic man bigfoot suit is high quality special effects for the time. How stupid can you get. Show us how much money went into it. Its your burden of proof, as you are using it as evidence to your position. Show us joe? Show us the amount that went into it.

If not, admit that you embelished and took something you knew nothing about and tried to mold it into points for your argument. This is very dishonest and you have been caught doing it yet again. Show us the budget Joe? Show us the money that went into the suit. Show us Joe? Your not going to be able to change the subject or squirm out of this one. Everyone who has read your replies are laughing there butts off. You made yourself look beyond stupid on this one.

    76. Futile argument??? really joe. You have been preaching this bionic man suit crap for about 2 weeks now. And now that your logic has been defeated and blown into left field, you are calling it a futile arguement? As dmaker said, and as we ALL are seeing, even your friends, you are making yourself look beyond stupid

      Delete
    78. Sorry peeps! The plain and simple facts are that the Bionic man was a big budget futuristic Hollywood series produced by by budget Hollywood production companies. If you want the exact cost of the Bigfoot suit, then you are likely requesting something only a handful of film producers know.

Bionic Man = Hollywood Production = Lame arss costume
compared to the Patterson Gimlin subject.

So where are those "obvious suit anomalies" guys? Why is it so hard to get you to post them??

      Delete
    79. What difference does it make what the Bionic Man bigfoot looks like? Isn't the mantra of the Pattycakes to focus on what is on the film only?

      Delete
    80. Shribes... One day you MIGHT grow a brain cell, not to mention a pair of b*lls, and progress from cheerleading and tough talk to contributing to an intellectual exchange... Not that I'm suggesting anything of the sort has happened in this comment section.

How's this... How about you people prove me otherwise. I've put my cards on the table and made the obvious claim that the a big Hollywood Production would have the budget, why don't you prove me wrong? Requesting that I produce an exact figure for a costume in that production is not realistic, whereas the multitude of claims made by three of you are not so difficult to support?

      Hmmmmmmmm... I wonder why???

      : )

      Delete
    81. Don... Because it makes the allegation that someone could manufacture something of that apparent realism totally unlikely, as Roger Patterson didn't have a Hollywood production budget. He was "broke' remember? "Trying to tie up lose ends"? Think of that... It doesn't matter if the suit in the Bionic Man cost a few hundred bucks, if that's what was available then for a costume of that nature in a Hollywood production that adheres to futuristic scenes, that was that.

You have to remember the basic storyline, the Bigfoot was in fact a cyber-alien, it didn't look half as good as anything we see in the Patterson Gimlin film.

    82. Your not going to be able to weasel your way out of this Joe, you are looking like a FOOL. Its your burden of proof. Produce the amount of money the suit cost, or that it was even "costly" or shut up and retract your statement. You got caught trying to fabricate stories yet again. You are looking like an idiot. Show us the amount it cost as you claim it was top of the line effects. Guess what Joe, even the wealthiest film companies will still use the cheapest materials they can if given the opportunity. Its not like anything in the bionic man looked realistic whatsoever, so why would they spend thousands of dollars on a suit, when its doubtful the whole episode cost more than a few thousand to film! The suit is ridiculous, and as dmaker says, this was around the first star wars and planet of the apes. I mean are you crazy? You are looking like an idiot and getting so far blown the f#ck out that its amazing.

      Delete
    83. How ignorant of you Joe. Simply google cheap movies made by major film studios. There are so many major movies that cost thousands to make, and made 100s of millions, produced by major studios. Major studios dont have to use major money to make a good movie with good effects. In fact, if they dont have too, they wont. Your arguement is crazy and you are looking amazingly stupid

      Delete
    84. Excuse me? I'll "shut up and retract" zero, dear boy, ha ha ha!! If you strongly believe that the Bionic Man was not made by an extensive budget, then that's your burden. Remember I have put forward a case for the amount a production like that would cost, via basic pop culture and the production companies invested in the show... If a critic asserts that there is evidence for disproof, he is making a claim and therefore also has to bear a burden of proof. There is nothing to fabricate about stating facts about Hollywood productions, it is in fact painfully obvious. Mind you, I am exchanging with someone who claims a production would try and look incompetent by making a bad suit... This by a production that won numerous awards for the series, ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!

It is impossible to know how much was spent on the costume, it is in fact very simply to acknowledge that a Hollywood budget would trump what old Roger was able to get his hands on. Using the argument that the costume in the Bionic Man is bad does not help your case one bit. It merely shows that real organic tissue was not even attempted years after the PGF, or that a big budget couldn't pull it off. Using Chewie that possesses not one of the PGF traits, and Planet of The Apes subjects that wear suits does not help one bit.

So how about those obvious suit anomalies for Patty?

      Delete
    85. I keep reading about me allegedly looking "stupid" and "foolish", yet where is the evidence that a Hollywood production cheaped out?

    91. Shribes... Let's not pretend you're capable of debate now.

      Ok... Let look at it like this then;
      http://youtu.be/AQlPAFV6yaI

      ... On the 15 second's mark, you'll notice the "Foam Muscle Suit Test". Ok... You can see that this source is partly CGI, right? You've got some ape dude, likely from the planet of the apes or something having a meltdown of troll proportions, who then turns to another subject he's about to have it out with. In these short seconds we have plenty of opportunity to see just how expensive Hollywood budget foam muscle can imitate realistic aggressive muscle movements; are we fulfilled? No, we can see that even with the obvious assistance of CGI, we still have no back & neck muscles, spinal erectors, or muscle movement in comparison to that of Patty;
      http://cryptomundo.com/cryptozoo-news/p-g44-buresh/

We have what's very obviously a massive budgeted movie that can choose it's preference of lighting, can choose how much CGI it wants to incorporate, has access to the best materials and still we have nothing that closely resembles organic tissue the same way as Patty displays. Also... People weren't using foam muscle suits in the late 60's, it was pointless the shoddy video even suggesting it really. So... How about that burden that the Bionic Man cost a few dollars? Oh wait... I just made that argument totally irrelevant with a big money production decades later that doesn't even stand up.

      Oops!!

(Whispers... How about those "obvious" suit anomalies on Patty???)

Have you never heard of the Solutrean hypothesis? Why do you think that Powell didn’t want to entertain any line of analysis which attempted to connect any artifacts found in the New World with any "peoples or so-called races of antiquity in other portions of the world.”? It was called isolationist theory and no evidence of European descent involving the giant mound builders would be considered. If they werent European, how did they have red and blond hair? You tell me son.

There is no physical evidence that has been tested to show that red headed Giants made the elaborate mounds systems. But like I said... There is evidence that giant red headed mummies had genuine red hair, which is a European trait.

    107. "Now comes a surprising twist, from the complete nuclear genome of a Siberian boy who died 24,000 years ago—the oldest complete genome of a modern human sequenced to date. His DNA shows close ties to those of today’s Native Americans. Yet he apparently descended not from East Asians, but from people who had lived in Europe or western Asia. The finding suggests that about a third of the ancestry of today’s Native Americans can be traced to “western Eurasia,” with the other two-thirds coming from eastern Asia, according to a talk at a meeting here by ancient DNA expert Eske Willerslev of the University of Copenhagen. It also implies that traces of European ancestry previously detected in modern Native Americans do not come solely from mixing with European colonists, as most scientists had assumed, but have much deeper roots.

“I’m still processing that Native Americans are one-third European,” says geneticist Connie Mulligan of the University of Florida in Gainesville. “It’s jaw-dropping.” At the very least, says geneticist Dennis O’Rourke of the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, “this is going to stimulate a lot of discussion.”
