Bigfoot Hunter Shares Some Insight on Killing Bigfoot

Bobby Hamilton of the Gulf Cast Bigfoot Researchers Organization, commonly known as the GCBRO, or just "The BRO", sits down and talks about their upcoming television special "Killing Bigfoot", and some background about himself and the group.

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - An East Texas native says Bigfoot is real and hopes to show proof in a new 1-hour television special.

Bobby Hamilton grew up in Garrison and Jacksonville and said he had numerous encounters with the legendary beast. Hamilton said his first one started in the winter when he was four years-old.

"I'm walking in the bedroom with my head down and I hear something scratch the screen and I look up and there is this apish looking thing with an evil grin, because I could see teeth, and it was motioning with his hand for me to come to the window,” Hamilton said.

Hamilton believes East Texas is the perfect sport for sightings of the primate because of the wooded areas to hide in and the abundance of fresh water. Hamilton also said he believes the public will soon start seeing more sightings.

"We are having more encounters with these things coming up to people's houses and killing their livestock,” Because their environment is being torn down,” Hamilton said.

Hamilton is the founder of the Gulf Coast Bigfoot Research Organization. The group has been hunting Bigfoot through East Texas and Louisiana. Their latest endeavor has been documented in a one-hour special called ”Killing Bigfoot”, premiering Friday at 8 p.m. on Destination America.

    2. Uh, 3:56, the JREF no longer exists. Where did you go?

The JREF was packed with egotistical blowhards.

It was a prerequisite to membership.

You'll find many of the former blowhards now current blowhards at the ISF.

It's pretty fun that footery outlasted the JREF. Nice one. They tried, and failed. Footery goes on; not so, the JREF.

    5. On what is probably the most famous (or infamous) "skeptic" forums,-- the JREF (James Randi Educational Forum) -- you can find threads about UFOs, Bigfoot, psychics; anything paranormal or Fortean, it's there. A favorite of theirs seems to be Bigfoot.

I find this fascinating, for they have not just one, or two, or even three, threads about Bigfoot. They have, at last count, twenty-seven separate threads concerning Bigfoot! I know!

What fascinates me is why something that they don't believe exists would merit twenty-seven different threads?

They must love to hear themselves talk, as well as argue. Now and then some brave Bigfoot "believer" will engage in what they assume will be a debate (the poor dear) and soon find him or herself in an endless loop of bizarro world skepti -tactics. But that's okay, and to be expected, that's what they do. I just didn't realize they'd do it so much.

What do they hope to achieve? They're not going to convince anyone; they're preaching to the choir. At some point you just have to stop. But Bigfoot is on their skepti little brains, big time.

Here's a list of the Bigfoot threads:

I will acknowledge that the "Native American myths/traditions support Bigfoot? A critical look" is interesting. The "Patterson-Gimlin Film" is at times interesting, often entertaining, and of course, full of the expected insults, mocking and put downs. I mean they do go on!

Others are downright silly, like "I Saw Bigfoot Kissing Santa Claus," others are deadly serious, with deadly serious questions about some aspect or another of Bigfootness. Whatever.

Really, at some point you have to ask: what's the fascination with the fascination?

    6. "They've hijacked the term "skeptic" to refer to the one who suppresses the act of questioning, rather than to the questioner himself. In doing so, they've pretended to be the opposite of what they are to hide their true agenda, which is to protect the agenda of the status quo power elite and keep people remaining sheeple. See here for more info.

Additionally, they've hijacked terms such as "rational, reason, logic, critical thinking" to mean the "proper" thinking and behavior that supports materialism and orthodoxy, and rejects against anything that challenges it. That is not what those words mean of course. It's a form of mind control and disinformation. And it seems way too calculated and militant to be due to some accidental misunderstanding, ignorance or closed mindedness. Hijacking a word to mean its opposite is more indicative of a deliberate agenda, such as a disinformation campaign or form of mind control. If that sounds terrible, well, we are here to expose it thank goodness.

Furthermore, oddly enough, they treat Science as if it were some kind of authoritarian "entity" that takes positions and views on issues (their own of course), when it is in fact merely a tool and method of inquiry based on logical principles. In reality, science does not take positions or hold dogmatic beliefs on subjects. People take positions, not Science, which holds no more views than my computer does. Science is not a living entity. These pseudoskeptics are projecting their own views and Atheistic philosophy into Science, which they hold as the ultimate authority, aka Scientism. (Oh well, I guess pseudoskeptics need something to worship too)."

      Psuedoskepticism in a fundamental quasi-religion.

    7. Well you pretty much nailed them JOE. Exactly what they are. I only visited the site once back in 2011. That was enough for me. These folks are stuck in the mid 19th century and go through life with eyes wide shut and other senses shut down also. But hey, they can slap each other on the back and pretend they are mensa type people and have all the answers in this vast, and vastly unknown universe while people like us push the boundaries forward.

    8. How in the world have you two pushed the boundaries forward? Or people like you, for that matter?

Two blog commenters, one old man with no evidence and a lonely Brit with to much time on his hands have expanded the field of bigfoot?

At least John Jones had funny delusions.

And what have you achieved other than pester people like a coward and fail at a blog? You're just a freethinking nazi who's threatened by what people think that's out of your control. Fat little nobody who's angry at others being somebody.
