Bill Brock Interviews Les Stroud About Survivorman Bigfoot

So, why did Les Stroud picked Todd Standing as his "Bigfoot expert"? It was his footage. In this interview with Bill Brock, Les explained several reasons why Todd was chosen to do the Survivorman Bigfoot show with him. Les says Standing is either fraud, or his famous footage is the real deal.

So basically, he's giving Standing the benefit of the doubt and we can look forward to more Survivorman Bigfoot episodes. Watch the fascinating interview below:

    1. So it seems Les didn't 'see' anything when he was with Standing for this series. That's the impression I get from listening, although he's not going to hand out spoilers either.

    2. They saw nothing but some bent tree branches. They heard some night noises. Les was unable to get footage of Todd's Ewok sadly. Wonder why?

    3. That is true but don't you think it's a little strange that a guy like les stroud put his reputation on the line and did this bigfoot show with Todd standing who is frowned upon in the bigfoot community? I think les stroud seriously believes and the two encounters he had with Sasquatch convinced him enough to make a series about bigfoot. And realistically he is out in the middle of nowhere all the time who better to believe then him ?

  3. Survivorman: Bigfoot is standard Bigfoot television. Nothing new here. Les Stroud is really scraping the bottom of the barrel with this show.

    1. Ever since that Bear guy, Duel Survivor guys and man, women, wild (husband and wife) got caught sleeping in Motel rooms or on site trailers, survivor show ratings has gone down. Les Stroud know this, and to stay relevant, he is now a Big foot researcher!
Les, also is now, effected with "The Big foot on the Brain Syndrome". . Now everything he sees, hears or smells, was cause by a Big foot. He will become the NEW Matt MoneyMaker!

    2. ^John Jones, why don't you start your own show? Shoot, with hordes of Bigfoot up in the trees, brave men on horseback tracking them down, and a fearless leader showing them the way, it would be a big hit.

  4. The show was aired on a Canadian Travel channel...NOT a science channel. I bet he had trouble getting them to buy it.
    Total crap.

    2. Since TV is all about ratings, and bigfoot brings ratings (this show proves it once again), why do you think he "had trouble getting them to buy it"?
I'd imagine that a TV network would be pleased as punch to get a hold of this thing. The 1st episode was compelling. I dug it.

  8. I found it to be interesting. I'm going to keep an open mind. Is it possible? Who really knows? Until they drag a body out of the woods it with remain a mystery. Life is better when you keep engaging your imagination.

  9. This Les Stroud Bigfoot show is NO DIFFERENT than that fraudster, Geraldo Rivera, who kept millions of Americans glued to their TV sets, for FOUR SOLID HOURS with the "Al Capone's Vault" special. Allegedly inside of a brick building wall was a vault, used by Al Capone. No one had ever been inside and there was all of this speculation of dead bodies, millions of dollars, journals, illegal alcohol, you name it. Imagination went wild. The entire show was about breaking down the wall to see what was inside and could have been done in a ½ hour show.

Instead, Geraldo Rivera milked it for all he could get. The show went on and on for 4 hours and they crammed as many commercials as possible into that 4 hour time slot to make money. When they could hold us captive no more, the wall was breached and inside was...

...nothing. No bodies, no money, no papers, nothing at all with Al Capone's name on it, or anything at all for that matter. What did happen was Al Apone made fools of millions of Americans and bilked the advertisers out of millions of dollars. Geraldo Rivera had his credibility destroyed by that stunt and has never been taken seriously as a journalist, ever again. Is this to be the same fate for Les Stroud? I hope not because I do like him as a credible survivor, he does not take a camera crew or sleep in hotels. Does not hunt, eats plants almost exclusively and catches a fish every once in a while.

If Les Stroud wastes hours of my time like Geraldo Rivera did and does not produce any credible evidence of Bigfoot, his credibility as a survivor or adviser of any sort goes down the toilet.

  10. You can't separate survival tactics with hunting for a myth. Honestly I could give a fuck less if bear grylls sleeps in hotels. They are producing TV. The idea of reputation in the entertainment industry is about as elusive as Bigfoot. Just sayin'

  11. The tree breaks need to be examined by a tree expert for real evidence like the age of the trees, indicators as far as how many years the trees have been in that position etc.. Could a logging crew have placed them there for some reason. I could see a crew of humans being able to accomplish this, but has there ever been a crew in those areas? I think that the fact that footprint impressions occur in that area is corroborating evidence to support the tree breaks. We also know that there are bush people that live in certain areas. Is it possible they do not want outsiders hanging around in some type of scare tactic.

  12. I know at least one person has examined Todd Standing's bigfoot photo and claims that it is a doctored photo, but why should anyone believe him anymore than Todd Standing? It looks real to me. If that is a makeup job it is incredible, I am referring to the winking video. The other photo resembles a different type of creature, or human with a mustache or something, and beady eyes or something. Maybe the way a younger bigfoot would look. However, the two video creatures do not resemble one another.
