This "Bigfoot" Stick Structure Doesn't Look Very Cozy

It doesn't look very cozy, does it? As usual, nobody really knows who or what built this structure. According to M.K. Davis, this rudimentary shelter was found along the banks of the Klamath river in Northern California back in 2006. Was it built by a Sasquatch? In our opinion, it could be a "birthing station"-- Only kidding!

    1. Oh please. What a joke. Some guy wanting to be president. How could anyone think that this is real. You might as weel believe in Bigfoot.

  2. I think that young bigfoots must construct play shelters like human children make tents, forts, and teepees.

    2. You know something, I never thought of that but I bet you are right. They see parents building shelters from time to time or maybe often, and they emulate them. Perfect place to have some play time while parents are in river searching for food. Of course this could be human also, but I like your premise.

  4. Seriously? "It could have been made by man, or it could have been made by Sasquatch? It is Bigfoot country..."? So, did Bigfoot also plant the plants in the riverside area we see? Did he put the sand there, and the rocks? How about this: this pile of wood could have been made by nature, and if not, perhaps it was just made by a person spending some time at the beach of the river, perhaps as part of a sunblind? Besides, it is barely big enough for a human to get into, let alone a Bigfoot creature. MK has really reached the dregs with this video. One finds such "structures" all along the Trinity and Klamath rivers. Did Bigfoot make ALL of them? He must be very, very busy.

    2. Werd Steven. You were always one of the most level headed "footers". Keep it up, and spread it around my friend.

    3. He may very well be correct. Bigfoot MAY have planted the trees and placed the sand. He might be some sort of real life Tom Bombadil. Good input Steven.

    4. So basically your argument for it being fake is because that's not how YOU would react and he's using a regular flashlight. Since he <> you well then clearly it's a hoax.

From the article: "A homeowner captured this footage after they heard a disturbance in the BACK YARD of their wooded property." Now I'm not you either, but when I go into the back yard to check out noises I don't grab my stage lighting, IMAX gear, and FLIR. :P And I live in the state with the most reports in the US! Less than 1% of the US population has had an alleged encounter. Most people don't believe in Bigfoot and therefore don't "prepare" for it; they don't break out their top gear to check out noises behind the house. This guy was not a researcher nor a filmmaker, just an average homeowner.

Now the subject itself. Forget the speed at which it moves, the ape-like head/body turn, or the facial expression - really not enough evidence to say it's not a costume. But look at the 11 second mark of the enhanced film - you can make out the right arm which is very long in proportion to it's torso and the hand is very large, details consistent to great ape.

We agree that the original film ONLY really captures the face and shoulders in the low light condition. And it is true that a sophisticated mask can be mimic facial movements. But you are saying it is a hoax so motivation is important here. Why bother including details - arm length & hand size - most viewers will never see for a few seconds of film? And since there have been no other recording of this PA white Bigfoot, why create a costume detail you don't even bother to show off, ever?

I personally don't trust video or digital stills because the media can be manipulated. While I see no evidence of Photoshop after doing error level analysis, the film is too short and the original quality too poor to really be conclusive. ALL of the data combined in this video make it convincing (but it is not conclusive).

If you are going to take a position you need to provide support for that position. Saying it's "obvious" is not support. Saying you would not respond the same is not support, it's conjecture - it is not you on film in that circumstance - and it's introducing data not relevant to the case.

    6. Dude, I am using the English language as it comes to me naturally, not trying to show off or prove anything. If you are going to make unfounded and absurd ignorant anonymous claims that I am "unstable" perhaps you should consider that I am going to call your talk "hot air." That is what it is, like a fart, but really more offensive to all who might desire a rational and objective debate about interesting issues like Bigfoot.

    7. Being defensive is not an admirable quality, Stevie. Perhaps you should harness your insecurities in a more practical manner. You clearly lack any cognitive functionality.

    8. Clearly I do not "lack any cognitive functionality." Clearly, in fact, it is my "cognitive functionality" that annoys people, due to their own "insecurities." But anyway, Pierre, I am not really being defensive at all. I am having a little fun with the trolls. I am making the point that the "points" they make have no point at all.

I don't go around claiming to be "smart" or a "genius." What I do is oppose anti-intellectualism and juvenile logical fallacies and poor debating tactics. The latter you have demonstrated quite well, and you have proven my point for me. Thanks.

    10. Steven clearly has an insidious case of SARS. Self-absorbed-reflex-syndrome. The fact that you try to openly deny the fact that you do not go around claiming you are "smart" or a "genius", which youre clearly not, shows that in fact you think you are. Psychology 101, squirt.

      Delete
    11. Sorry, Pierre, you are just flat out wrong. And why do you want to talk about me so badly? There is no "psychology" here. I am just openly engaged in debates about Bigfoot, and I am not afraid to speak my mind as I see fit in words that seem to me appropriate to my cause. Sorry if that makes you feel tremulous and afraid. It certainly was not my intention.

    12. "The Dude"... listen to WHAT? A bunch of people talking about taterholes and peeing themselves, spewing nonsense non sequiturs, and committing the most common and base fallacies such as straw man attacks and ad hominem? Yeah, I should listen, and just not even talk to any one here. What is the point. However, it amuses me, from my lofty high mountain perch, to chuckle at the behavior of worms.

  7. My thoughts on the shelter are that it is man made and from previous people in the area. Not once do they indicate that the shelter is related. All that you get from the clip is the camera walking towards an individual standing near the shelter and having a somewhat face to face conversation with him—along the lines of "who would dress up and do that with the chance of being shot?"

I Do believe in BF, but it is people like this, walking around the woods in star wars costums & building huts, that make it so no one else will. You should be a shamed of yourselfs. Even if you have great proof. Without a body in hand (the whole thing not a peice) it will always be not real to the world.

Hmm, we always hear Sasquatches are peaceful and I believe that's true enough, so why not approach it. Even if it bluff charges you, you'll have some cool footage, and if it just walks off you'll have some cool video too. See, you can't lose that way. Now, if the Sasquatch is mad of course and thinks you want to hurt it, that's another story. Chance you'll have to take.

I encountered a structure similar to this, and to impress a pretty woman I climbed in to investigate.

Mama skunk gave me both barrels right between the eyes.

The sight of a grown man screaming and vomiting and rolling on the ground did not impress her in the least.
